Great to meet you!

My name is Dr. Barcebal, and I'm a Bay Area based licensed clinical psychologist, specializing in treatment of anxiety, depression, stress, life-transitions, and the psychological effects of living with chronic pain and illness. I'm passionate about supporting individuals in the process of personal growth and development. I utilize a range of treatment methodologies including Trauma Informed Methods, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused methods, Humanistic/Existentialism, Positive Psychology, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral therapy in her work with adult clients.

I am first generation Filipina-American liberation psychologist with licenses to work with folks residing in California, Washington, and Hawaii. I specialize working with diverse adult individuals seeking to navigate anxiety, life transitions, and heal from pervasive patterns perpetuated from intergenerational trauma. In addition, I have specialty in providing folks with psychedelic harm reduction and integration support, as well as treating individuals who are living with the effects of chronic pain and illness.

I completed my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I have extensive experience providing individual therapy, group facilitation, psychological assessment, and mental health consultation. Furthermore, I have seven years of experience instructing psychology courses at the post-secondary level.

I help clients feel seen, empowered, and transformed, offering tools and guidance to heal root patterns and create lasting, purposeful change.

**PLEASE NOTE: I do not work with clients who are currently involved in or planning to pursue active legal cases, including disability claims or litigation-related documentation. I also do not provide letters for work accommodations, disability, or leave-of-absence requests.

My approach to therapy

Clients experience a highly personalized blend of therapies, including Internal Family Systems, Brainspotting, ACT, solution-focused methods, and psychedelic integration. Together, we create deep, lasting changes that transform from the inside out.
