Great to meet you!

I hold a Master of Arts in CECP from Western Michigan University and a Limited License in Psychology in Michigan. I also obtained my Licensed Professional Counselor credential in Michigan. My experience includes about 23 years with the MI Department of Corrections, leading anger management, sex offender, and substance use groups. For roughly 4 years, I've been practicing privately. I've earned my Certification as a Clinical Trauma Professional and working on certification in Narcissistic Abuse.

My approach to therapy

As a counselor, my goal is to understand my clients and use their experiences, knowledge, and strengths to collaborate effectively, helping them achieve their fullest potential. I aim to integrate the most appropriate therapeutic process for each individual, while also harnessing the power of the mind-body connection to promote well-being.

What you can expect from me

To gain a deeper understanding of the issues they are facing and to develop a plan to address them. A more profound comprehension of how to manage life's challenges and the confidence to confront their problems directly. My commitment is to provide a non-judgmental, empathetic, and compassionate environment, ensuring a safe space for healing and growth for clients of all ethnicities, sexual orientations, and gender identities.
