Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Marion Davis, LMSW, and I would love to be your therapist!

Have you been feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or simply not like yourself lately? Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, or life's everyday challenges, you don't have to face it alone.

I believe everyone deserves a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space to be heard. My approach is compassionate, person-centered, and focused on meeting you where you are. I'm here to listen, encourage you, and walk alongside you at your own pace.

I earned my Master's in Social Work from Wayne State University, have over nine years of experience in mental health, and hold a certificate in Mental Health and Wellness with an emphasis in Grief and Bereavement from Grand Canyon University.

My goal isn't to change who you are, but to help you rediscover yourself, recognize your strengths, and find your way forward.

You deserve to feel heard, supported, and most importantly, like yourself again. I'd be honored to be part of your healing journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is person-centered, compassionate, and supportive. I believe that you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to provide a safe, comfortable, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and accepted.

I am a therapist who believes in listening first. I don't believe in rushing the healing process or telling you how you should feel. Instead, I allow you to lead our sessions at your own pace while offering guidance, encouragement, and support along the way.

I understand that sometimes you just need someone to listen without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, or simply feeling overwhelmed by life, I want you to know that your feelings and experiences matter.

My goal is to help you recognize your strengths, better understand yourself, and find healthier ways to navigate life's challenges.

Therapy is your journey, and I'm here to walk alongside you, not tell you which direction to go.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially if you've never been before or have had a difficult experience with therapy in the past. I want you to know that our first session is about getting to know each other and helping you feel comfortable.

During our first session, we'll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you've been experiencing, and what you hope to gain from our time together. I'll ask some questions to better understand your background, challenges, and goals, but there is no pressure to share anything you're not ready to discuss.

I believe in allowing my clients to lead the conversation at their own pace. You don't have to come prepared with the perfect words or know exactly what you want to work on. Sometimes, simply showing up is the first step.

My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling heard, supported, and comfortable knowing that you have a safe space to be yourself.

Remember, therapy is your journey. I'm just here to walk alongside you, one session at a time.
