Great to meet you!

I am a dedicated counselor with a passion for helping individuals overcome challenges and achieve personal growth. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia and my Master's in Guidance and Counseling from Lincoln University. My career began working with survivors of domestic and sexual assault and, over the years, I have gained diverse experience working in private practice, school-based therapy, community behavioral health, and the prison system. I specialize in helping clients identify and move past "stuck points" by leveraging their strengths, utilizing evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and EMDR. When I am not working with clients, I enjoy exploring the Pacific Northwest and spending time with my friends, family and two dogs.

My approach to therapy

My goal is to work alongside clients to learn and use their strengths, while incorporating evidence based protocols to assist them in achieving their goals and overcoming obstacles so they can live their best lives.

What you can expect from me

I aspire to collaborate with my clients during sessions. While I am the expert on therapeutic theory and interventions, the client is the expert on themselves. In working together, we will be most successful in identifying and challenging those symptoms which are making functioning less than optimal.
