Great to meet you!

What You’re Feeling Right Now

Stress has become a constant companion in your life, whether it’s the slow, grinding weight of chronic stress or the sudden overwhelm of acute stress, you feel stuck in a cycle that’s impossible to break. You’re bracing for the next wave, even when nothing is wrong, and it feels exhausting to carry so much tension. The weight doesn’t just live inside you; it also affects how you show up in your relationships. You might feel disconnected from loved ones or notice patterns of conflict that keep repeating, no matter how much you want things to change.

For some, it’s a yearning for freedom from the constant pressure to do more, achieve, or hold it all together. You long for the freedom to tend to your body, rest, and be. But with so many alarm bells going off daily, rest feels like a luxury you can’t afford. It’s hard to imagine when that rest might come, especially when you’re caught in a mindset of scarcity, where there’s never enough time, space, or energy to care for yourself.

My approach to therapy

“The process of finding the truth may not be a process by which we feel increasingly better and better. It may be a process by which we look at things honestly, sincerely, and that may or may not be an easy thing to do.” – Adyashanti

This quote resonates deeply with me and my work as a holistic psychotherapist. Therapy isn’t always about feeling better in the moment; it’s about creating the space to face what’s real so you can ultimately move through life with greater ease, clarity, and authenticity. I work from a body-oriented lens. My approach incorporates:

Somatic Experiencing (SE): Helping you explore how stress shows up in your body and build resilience. Brainspotting and EMDR: Addressing deep emotional pain and trauma with gentle, focused techniques. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): Building skills to manage emotions and navigate relationships. African and Indigenous Healing Traditions: Honoring the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit through ancestral wisdom.

These evidence-based and culturally rooted practices help us address the roots of your pain while building a path that feels deeply personal and affirming.

What you can expect from me

What’s Possible for You Healing isn’t about fixing yourself; it’s about learning to work with your body and mind in new ways, creating small but powerful shifts that can transform how you experience the world. Imagine being able to:

  • Feel grounded and calm, even on stressful days.
  • Build stronger, more fulfilling relationships.
  • Finally break free from patterns of fear and self-doubt.
  • Rediscover the joy of simply being in your body.

I know how hard it can be to face the weight of your pain. But I also know what’s possible on the other side of that work, a life where you feel grounded, confident, and free from the patterns that once held you back.

Let’s Work Together

If you’re ready to take this first step, I invite you to schedule a 30-minute consultation. Together, we’ll create a path that honors your story, harnesses your body’s natural healing capacities, and opens the door to your most expansive self.
