Great to meet you!

Marjorie works with people who are used to holding it all together- those others rely on, who often show up as capable, thoughtful, and strong. On the outside, they may manage a lot with care and intention, while internally feeling overwhelmed, stretched thin, anxious, or exhausted. Many of her clients are deeply self-aware yet still feel stuck. Marjorie believes healing doesn't happen through insight alone. Using a holistic, body-oriented approach, she integrates Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, Brainspotting, DBT, and IFS to help clients move beyond survival mode and create more ease and balance.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is holistic, trauma-informed, and body-centered. I believe healing involves more than insight alone, so I focus on supporting both emotional understanding and nervous system regulation. I integrate Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, Brainspotting, DBT, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help process trauma, reduce stress, and shift long-standing patterns. Sessions are collaborative, paced to your needs, and focused on helping you feel safer, more grounded, and more connected to yourself over time.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a welcoming and supportive space where we begin getting to know you and what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about your current concerns, relevant history, and what you hope to gain from treatment. This is also a time for you to ask questions and see if we’re a good fit. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals and outlining a direction for therapy that feels safe, collaborative, and tailored to your needs and pace.
