Great to meet you!
I’m Mark, an LCSW in Albuquerque, dedicated to creating a warm, non‐judgmental space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and respected. My approach is grounded in real connection, collaboration, and meaningful, lasting change.
Living with cerebral palsy has shaped my understanding of resilience, adaptation, and navigating systems of difference. My background in sociology and Africana Studies deepens my awareness of how oppression, racism, and marginalization affect people—especially Black communities and other marginalized groups. I bring this embodied, culturally humble perspective into our work, always honoring you as the expert on your own life.
My practice is trauma‐informed and centered on safety, empowerment, choice, and trust. I welcome adults and couples from all backgrounds, and I approach conversations about identity, race, culture, or lived experience with openness and care.
I work especially well with motivated professionals, parents, and people in transition dealing with anxiety, burnout, depression, relationship challenges, or the lasting impacts of trauma and systemic stress. Together, we’ll build practical tools for resilience, clarity, self‐compassion, stronger relationships, and a greater sense of calm and confidence.
In sessions, I integrate CBT, mindfulness, somatic grounding, and strengths‐based approaches—tailored to your goals, pace, and needs. Whether you’re seeking relief from symptoms, healing old patterns, or navigating complex life pressures, I’m here to support your growth.
If this resonates, I’d be honored to work with you as you move toward feeling more grounded, empowered, and connected.
