Great to meet you!

Sometimes life can leave you feeling like you’ve lost your sense of control. Depression, emotional distress, or difficult circumstances can make it hard to know what to do next or how to make things feel manageable again. I have several years of experience supporting individuals through these challenges, as well as extensive experience working with children and families facing significant emotional and behavioral concerns. With a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and experience across a variety of clinical and educational settings, I bring both knowledge and practical experience to my work.

My approach to therapy

My goal is to create a space where you can talk openly about the things that matter most to you without feeling judged or rushed. I want to understand your circumstances from your perspective and help you identify the concerns that are having the greatest impact on your life. I believe therapy should be a collaborative process—you should feel that I am genuinely alongside you, helping you make sense of what you're experiencing and determine what steps may be most helpful.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity to begin getting to know you and understand what brought you to therapy. We'll talk through your experiences, concerns, and goals so I can develop a fuller picture of what you're navigating. You won't be expected to have everything figured out before we begin. My hope is that you leave our first conversation feeling heard, understood, and confident that we have a clear starting point for the work ahead.
