I specialize in clinical practice with the LGBTQIA+ population, and have expertise with Gender Confirmation Surgery assessments, and Bariatric assessments. I have been recognized by Mayor Scott in the re-establishment of Pflag Baltimore, where I currently serving as President. I was a past participant in Baltimore City’s Office of LGBT Affairs, and subcommittee of Health and Human Services. I was also appointed by Governor Moore to serve as one of the first Commissioners on the Maryland Commission of LGBTQIA+ Affairs, where I completed two terms, and served on the Strategic Planning Subcommittee.

My approach to therapy

I am a psychotherapist who believes patients are the first priority, and works with many theories and approaches to find the correct fit for patients. My most common theoretical frameworks are EMDR, Cognitive, Dialectic, Motivational, Psychodynamic, Narrative, Exploratory, Strength Based and Interpersonal therapeutic approaches.
