Great to meet you!

Clients should know that I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where they can feel comfortable being themselves and discussing difficult challenges openly. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in a high-pressure federal career, which gave me firsthand experience understanding stress, pressure, anxiety, and major life transitions.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is supportive, collaborative, and goal-oriented. I believe each person’s experiences and challenges are unique, so I tailor treatment to meet the individual needs of each client rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.

I work to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. I help clients explore patterns, develop insight, and build practical coping strategies they can apply in their daily lives. My style is calm, conversational, and focused on helping clients make meaningful progress at a pace that feels manageable for them.

I draw from evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), while also emphasizing self-awareness, emotional growth, and resilience.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect the first session to be a supportive and relaxed conversation focused on getting to know them and understanding what brings them to therapy. We will discuss current concerns, personal history, goals for treatment, and any challenges they may be experiencing in daily life.

The first session is also an opportunity for clients to ask questions, talk about what they hope to gain from therapy, and determine whether the therapeutic relationship feels like a good fit. My goal is to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and supported from the beginning.

Clients do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. We will work together to identify goals and develop a plan that feels realistic and helpful.
