Great to meet you!

I am a therapist focusing on individuals, couples, and sex therapy. I have two master's degrees, one in Social Work and the other in Human Sexuality.

In addition to specializing in working with relationship and sexual concerns, I have done extensive training in trauma treatment to help me better aid people recovering from overwhelming parts of their life's journeys.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy pulls from multiple theoretical frameworks and is based on the specific needs and goals of the people I am working with. That said, my treatment methodology is grounded in:

1. Analyzing how our past impacts our present and colors our expectations of the future

2. Developing ways that we can use our focus and intention to feel confident and in control of how our mind works on the challenges we face

  1. 3. Understanding our emotional reactions in ways that can help us learn to identify and better address underlying challenges

What you can expect from me

I work with my clients to create safe, affirming space that allows them to explore the most challenging parts of their lives while celebrating and building upon their strengths. Our first session will be an opportunity for us to establish goals by envisioning what your life will look like when the issues that brought you to therapy are resolved. From there, we will chart a course of treatment from where you are now to the picture of your symptoms resolved and your life back on track.
