Great to meet you!

I’m Dr. Marlena Thomas, LCMHC. With over 20 years of experience in the human services field, I’ve had the privilege of supporting children, adults, and families through both challenges and growth opportunities. For the past eight years, I’ve specialized in helping individuals manage anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, couples counseling, and life transitions.

I’m excited to meet you and look forward to working together on your journey!

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in compassion, empathy, and respect for your unique journey. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and empowered. I tailor my methods to fit your specific needs and goals.

I specialize in anxiety, depression, self-esteem, couples counseling, and life transitions. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to support holistic healing.

What you can expect from me

From the first session, clients can expect a supportive and collaborative space where trust and safety are prioritized. Together, we’ll set personalized goals that align with your unique needs.
