Great to meet you!

With 17 years of experience in the mental health field, I have dedicated my career to serving children, adolescents, adults, and marginalized populations across diverse clinical settings. My professional expertise includes community outpatient care, primary care behavioral health, crisis intervention, psychosocial rehabilitation, and substance use disorder treatment. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Education from East Carolina University and later obtained a Master of Social Work through the Joint Master of Social Work Program of North Carolina A&T State University and The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I am committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers individuals to achieve improved mental health, resilience, and overall well-being

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is warm, personable, and grounded in building strong therapeutic rapport. I foster a welcoming and collaborative environment while utilizing evidence-based modalities, including Talk Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and structured problem-solving techniques. My practice is both recovery-oriented and trauma-informed, supporting clients in developing insight, resilience, and meaningful, sustainable change

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we'll get to know each other and build a comfortable working relationship. We'll discuss your goals and expectations for therapy, review what future sessions will look like, and complete a full assessment to map out your personalized treatment plan.
