Great to meet you!

Hello and thank you for visiting! I am Marsha Wiggins. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Maryland and have been practicing since 2014. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Columbia College and a Master of Social Work in Advanced Clinical Practice.

My approach to therapy

The approaches I embrace are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness. CBT is an effective treatment that helps clients learn the relationship between thoughts, feelings and behaviors. I have used CBT throughout my psychotherapy career and have found it to be beneficial. Mindfulness teaches us to be in the moment and present with ourselves and our surroundings. I use mindful meditation and other activities to help my clients achieve a balanced mental state and effectively process emotions.

What you can expect from me

My greatest strength is in helping people feel at ease during stressful times. Telling your story to a complete stranger can be very difficult and uncomfortable. You can expect a peaceful environment of support, positive regard and acceptance.
