Great to meet you!
Hi,
I'm so excited to share a few things about myself with you.
I'm a graduate of Montreat College in Montreat, North Carolina, with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Prior to getting this degree, I taught in the public schools of North Carolina for several years.
I have experience working with all types of clients, including young children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. I also have experience working with LGBTQ2+ clients, particularly youth.
I believe that many problems can be solved through changing faulty thought processes. While my primary therapy approach is more Cognitive/Behavioral in nature, I employ different theories that are suited to each individual client’s needs. I incorporate psychoeducational activities and artistic activities in my practice, particularly with children.
