Great to meet you!

I am originally from Mexico, immigrating to the U.S in the early 1980s. My family background is embodied in poverty, teen parents, trauma, and illiteracy. I was raised working and living in migrant camps and was the first in my family to obtain a higher education. While I had little to no personal supports growing up, I had a strong resiliency; this contributed to my life successes.

I am an adventure seeker who values family, health and fitness, traveling and helping others.

My approach to therapy

My treatment approach is tailored to each individual’s concerns. I strongly believe that through exploration of self and mindfulness, all persons have the capacity to manage life’s challenges. I help clients by focusing on brief interventions and eliciting behavior change for any condition that is affecting their health and well-being.

I hope to empower clients to assume control and shift to a place of balance.

What you can expect from me

Clear, simple, easy to follow daily plans to address any life challenge while maintaining focus on self.
