Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC/LCMHC) in both South & North Carolina with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, here to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and growth. I work with children, adolescents, and adults, offering a compassionate, judgment-free space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported.

My passion lies in helping individuals—especially those from marginalized communities—find their voice, reclaim their confidence, and create lives that feel authentic and fulfilling. Whether you’re navigating life changes, healing from past hurts, or seeking tools to manage stress and anxiety, I provide a collaborative approach tailored to your unique needs and strengths.

Outside the therapy room, I am a mother, military spouse, sister, daughter, lifelong learner, and artist. These life experiences give me a deep appreciation for the many hats we wear and the challenges we face in balancing them. In our work together, you’ll find a warm, approachable therapist dedicated to helping you uncover resilience, rediscover joy, and embrace your full potential.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including an eclectic approach to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also integrate an understanding of trauma’s impact on the brain and body, drawing from neuroscience to guide healing in a compassionate and effective way.

What you can expect from me

I bring a culturally responsive, inclusive lens to therapy and am deeply attuned to the unique experiences of BIPOC individuals, women, and those navigating systemic barriers. As a lifelong artist, I often incorporate creative expression into the therapeutic process. Whether it’s through drawing, writing, or other artistic mediums, I believe that art can offer a powerful pathway for healing, insight, and connection. My clients appreciate the opportunity to engage both their minds and hearts in ways that feel meaningful and personal. At the core of my work is the belief that therapy should be a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel truly seen and heard. I am known for being warm, authentic, and collaborative—qualities that help me build strong, trusting relationships with clients and their families.Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, grief, or experiencing behavioral challenges with children like oppositional defiant disorder, I’m here to walk alongside you. Together, we’ll explore new strategies for coping, reconnect with your strengths, and create room for growth and restoration.I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward healing, balance, and self-discovery.
