Great to meet you!

I am a registered board-certified art therapist, licensed professional counselor, licensed certified art therapist and art therapy certified supervisor. I have a Doctorate in Art Therapy, specialize in the treatment of trauma with adults and have completed Level 1 training in Internal Family Systems and have training in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) to support clients in processing trauma.

My approach to therapy

I believe that the act of making art and reflecting on oneself can be transformative. My approach as a therapist is centered on creating a nurturing non-judgmental relationship to build trust and explore oneself. I bring curiosity, compassion, creativity, and care to support clients to deeply know and understand themselves. Together we honor the client’s experience and use art as a window of understanding, as a process to explore parts of oneself or as a way of externalizing or witnessing for deeper understanding.

What you can expect from me

After a brief introductory phone call I will have you submit some preliminary background paperwork. In our first session we will discuss some of your goals for therapy, work on building trust and answer any questions you have about our work together.
