Great to meet you!

I’m Mary, a nurse practitioner with nearly 40 years of experience in healthcare, and caring for people across the lifespan has been at the heart of my work from the beginning. My journey has included women’s health and midwifery, emergency care, and ultimately psychiatric mental health, shaped by a deep belief that no one should have to struggle alone. Personal loss and witnessing gaps in mental health care strengthened my commitment to helping people before pain becomes overwhelming. Outside of work, I enjoy starting my mornings with quiet reflection, going on long-distance cycling adventures, and relaxing with some friendly Xbox competition alongside my husband and friends.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and a nonjudgmental presence. I specialize in perinatal depression and anxiety, dual diagnosis, and substance use disorders, and I work with many people who come in feeling sad, hopeless, or broken. One of my greatest strengths is listening—truly listening—so that you feel heard, respected, and safe. My goal is to help you reconnect with your strengths and rediscover a sense of possibility, meeting you exactly where you are.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a welcoming, supportive space where we focus on understanding your story and what brings you in. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, with time to share your concerns, ask questions, and begin identifying goals together. Above all, my hope is that you leave feeling supported and less alone, knowing you’ve taken a meaningful step toward healing.
