Great to meet you!

Hi and welcome! I am passionate about treating complex trauma, attachment wounding, life transitions, grief/loss, and eating disorders. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor in the state of NC and a Board Certified Registered Art Therapist. I completed my initial training at Southwestern College in Santa Fe, NM in 2016 where I graduated with a masters degree in Art Therapy and Counseling as well as a certificate in Trauma, Loss, and Renewal. Since then, I have received additional training in contemplative psychotherapy, modern psychoanalysis, EMDR, parts work, dream work, attachment theory, and trauma informed and supported care.

My approach to therapy

As a depth oriented psychotherapist, I act as a bridge between my client's unconscious and conscious experiences to support them in understanding their personal narratives, historical patterns, wants/needs/desires, and how their past impacts their experience in the here and now. Therapy with me is relational, collaborative, and engaging. As we become more aware of our personal stories and make known what has been unconscious we begin to experience greater access to emotional processing, meaning making, compassion, self-awareness, the power of choice, and a truer sense of self.

What you can expect from me

I am responsive and sensitive to my clients. A primary goal is that you feel seen, heard and understood by me. From this place of understanding and relational rapport, clarity and meaningful growth is possible.
