Great to meet you!

I am committed to meeting you where you are in life and partnering with you to heal the past, manage the present and move toward a better future. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Clinician (LCMHC) in the state of North Carolina and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia. I would be honored to meet with you, to hear your story, to value your process, and to help you move toward your goals.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I work with anxiety, depression and healing from traumatic experiences using the evidence-based practices of Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I have training in other theoretical approaches, such as TEAM CBT, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for Weight Loss and Maintenance, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), Choice Theory/Reality Therapy Advanced Training, Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) for regulating the nervous system.

What you can expect from our first session

I provide highly effective services through evidenced based practices and collaborating with you to individualize your treatment. I offer Telehealth to make counseling available to anyone who are looking to improve their mental and emotional health. I make every effort to ensure your Telehealth session is as personal and connected as if you were sitting on my couch and I were just across the room.
