I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and Michigan. I specialize in treating trauma, anxiety, and depression. I earned my bachelor's degree in psychology from Florida International University and my master's degree in applied psychology- mental health counseling from Lynn University. I am in the process of earning my doctorate degree in community care and counseling with a focus on trauma from Liberty University.
I utilize a goal-directed approach in which I assist my clients with setting reasonable and attainable goals to improve their well-being. I also use a traumatic incident reduction protocol for clients who have experienced trauma.
Clients can learn ways to develop coping skills, to improve their communication skills, and to overcome anxiety, depression, and trauma symptoms through my work with them. I provide a compassionate and warm environment that enables my clients to develop a strong therapeutic bond with me to help them work through their concerns.
