Great to meet you!

I am a compassionate, person-centered Clinical Counselor with over 20 years of experience in the fields of mental health and addiction treatment. Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, military families, inpatient and outpatient programs, schools, and clients' homes, supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.

I believe that every person has the capacity for growth, healing, and positive change. My approach is grounded in empathy, respect, and a non-judgmental attitude, creating a safe space where clients can feel heard, understood, and supported. I work collaboratively with clients, recognizing that they are the experts in their own lives, and helping them build on their strengths to regain a sense of balance, confidence, and well-being.

My goal is to support you on your journey toward meaningful and lasting change while fostering hope, resilience, and personal empowerment.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and person-centered. I believe that every individual has the capacity for growth, healing, and positive change, regardless of the challenges they are facing. My role is to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences.

With over 20 years of experience in mental health and addiction treatment, I have worked in a wide range of settings, including hospitals, inpatient and outpatient programs, schools, and community and home-based services. These experiences have allowed me to support individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, life transitions, relationship challenges, grief, and other emotional or behavioral concerns.

I tailor therapy to each client's unique needs, drawing on evidence-based approaches while focusing on building a strong therapeutic relationship. I believe clients are the experts in their own lives, and I work alongside them to identify strengths, develop coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change. My goal is to help clients reconnect with themselves, build resilience, and move toward a healthier and more fulfilling life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my priority is to create a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment where you feel comfortable sharing your story at your own pace. I take time to get to know you, understand your concerns, and learn about your strengths, challenges, and goals for therapy.

With over 20 years of experience in mental health and addiction treatment, I believe each person is unique and capable of positive change. Together, we will begin identifying what is most important to you and develop a collaborative plan to support your healing and growth.

Clients can expect to be listened to with empathy, respect, and compassion. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the journey ahead.
