Great to meet you!

I work with adults who are going through major life transitions—such as a move, a relationship ending, a career change, or a period of feeling disconnected from themselves. These moments can bring up uncertainty, self-doubt, and a sense of not quite knowing who you are anymore.

My approach is to understand you from the inside rather than fit you into a category. I listen for the deeper meaning underneath what you’re experiencing and help you make sense of your reactions in the context of your life and relationships.

I offer a non-judgmental space where your experience is taken seriously. Many people come to therapy unsure if what they feel is valid, or wondering if they are “too much” or “not enough.” Part of our work is helping you hear your own voice more clearly and begin to trust what you notice inside yourself.

I work collaboratively and at your pace. Sometimes we talk things through, sometimes we slow down and notice what’s happening in the moment, and sometimes we reflect on patterns that show up in your relationships—including in the therapy space. Over time, therapy becomes a place where you can reconnect with yourself and begin to move forward with more clarity and confidence

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in psychodynamic and relational therapy, with an emphasis on self-awareness, emotional understanding, and how your past experiences shape your present.

We begin by exploring what you’re going through and putting words to patterns that may feel confusing or overwhelming. Together, we make sense of your emotional experience so you can feel more grounded and better able to make decisions that align with who you are.

Our work is primarily conversational and reflective, but we may also slow things down to notice how your mind and body respond in the moment—especially during times of stress or transition. This can help you better understand and move through reactions that feel stuck or difficult to manage.

What you can expect from me

You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say. We'll go at your pace.

I’ll ask some questions to understand what’s bringing you in, especially if you’re navigating a recent change or feeling uncertain about what comes next. At the same time, I’m paying attention to how you’re experiencing things—not just what you say, but how it feels to talk about it.

We may slow things down at times, notice reactions, or begin putting words to experiences that have been hard to describe. There’s no pressure to go anywhere you’re not ready to go.

My goal early on is for you to feel safe enough to be real—without feeling judged, analyzed, or rushed. We’re not trying to fix everything in one session. We’re beginning a process of understanding, so you can start to feel more grounded, more clear, and more like yourself.
