Great to meet you!

I started my nursing career in 2007, working in emergency medicine. With a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a long-time interest in mental health, I eventually followed my passion and became a psychiatric nurse practitioner.

What I love about psychiatry is that it isn’t one-size-fits-all—every person’s situation is unique. Medication management feels like solving a puzzle to me, and I enjoy using creativity and problem-solving to find what works best for each individual. My goal is to partner with patients in a supportive, collaborative way to help them feel their best.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care focuses less on labels and more on the person in front of me. I look at both the symptoms someone is experiencing and the brain chemistry that may be driving those symptoms, then work to find ways to bring things back into balance. I don’t treat to a diagnosis—I treat the individual and their unique struggles.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a laid-back, conversational approach to medication management—more like talking through what’s going on than sitting through an interrogation. My goal is to understand the specific symptoms someone is dealing with and the brain chemistry behind them, then work together to find the right adjustments.
