Great to meet you!
I work with diverse women who are thoughtful, capable, and exhausted from adapting—to family expectations, cultural norms, demanding roles, chronic health needs, or a world that was not designed for their brain. My areas of focus include early childhood trauma, OCD, grief, neurodivergence, chronic illness, perfectionism, and complex cultural or religious identities.
I am a licensed clinical social worker and founder of Maryam Yasmin Therapy & Consulting. My work is grounded in extensive experience with immigrant and refugee communities and in helping people navigate the intersection of identity, relationships, health, and systemic pressures. I bring a culturally responsive, trauma-informed lens that treats your body, identities, relationships, and real-life circumstances as central—not as side notes.
