Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Marzena. I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of experience, including leadership in a Neurosurgical ICU. I’ve supported patients and families through some of life’s most intense moments—and I bring that same calm, grounded approach to mental health care.

I work with adults and young adults struggling with anxiety, ADHD, depression, trauma, stress, and life transitions. If you feel overwhelmed, stuck, or not like yourself, you’re not alone—and things can get better.

My approach is practical, supportive, and results-focused. I combine medication management with therapy-informed care (CBT, DBT skills) to help you feel better, think more clearly, and regain control of your life.

I also specialize in supporting women navigating stress, burnout, and hormonal or life changes. As a bilingual provider, I offer care in both English and Polish.

Appointments are available quickly—often within the same week.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is warm, understanding, and collaborative. I believe therapy should feel safe and supportive — but also purposeful. I meet clients with compassion and genuine curiosity, and I’m not afraid to use light humor when appropriate to make difficult conversations feel more human and approachable.

At the same time, I believe growth requires active participation. I will encourage you, guide you, and sometimes gently challenge you. Therapy is not just about talking — it’s about learning new skills and practicing them in real life. I often assign practical exercises or “homework” to help you apply what we discuss between sessions.

My role is not to tell you what to do, but to help you clarify your goals, strengthen your confidence, and show you a path forward. Together, we work toward meaningful, sustainable change.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will spend time getting to know each other. I will ask thoughtful questions about your current concerns, personal history, stressors, and what has (or has not) worked for you in the past. This helps me understand the full picture — not just symptoms, but you as a person.

I want you to feel that you are an active decision-maker in your care. This is a collaborative process. I am here to listen. If you want to talk freely, I will hold that space for you. If you are unsure where to begin or prefer more guidance, that is completely okay too — I will gently help structure the conversation.

Together, we will identify your goals and begin creating a clear, individualized treatment plan. We will discuss practical next steps, skill-building strategies, and, when appropriate, medication options. If additional services such as specialized therapy or community resources would be helpful, I will provide referrals and coordinate care as needed.

My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and clearer about the path forwar
