Great to meet you!

I work with adolescents and adults across a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, OCD, stress, trauma, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. My style is warm, open-minded, and empowering. I want therapy to be a place where you can better understand yourself, work through what's getting in the way, and develop practical tools that make a meaningful difference in your everyday life.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent years as a youth, high school, and college wrestling coach and competitive athlete. That experience shaped my understanding of resilience, confidence, pressure, and what it takes to navigate difficult seasons. I bring that perspective into therapy while recognizing that every person's experiences, challenges, and goals are different.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when it's collaborative, practical, and tailored to you. We'll take time to understand what you're experiencing, identify patterns that may be contributing to current challenges, and build on the strengths and resources you already have. My goal isn't to tell you how to live your life, but to help you gain greater clarity and develop strategies that support the changes you want to make.

I draw from approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and trauma-informed care. Depending on your needs, our work may focus on managing anxiety or OCD, processing difficult experiences, navigating relationships or life transitions, strengthening confidence, or developing healthier ways of coping.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and understand what you'd like support with. You don't need to have everything figured out or know exactly where to begin. We'll start with what feels most important to you and build from there.

You can expect me to be warm, engaged, supportive, and straightforward. I'll listen without judgment, ask thoughtful questions, and help you look at challenges from different perspectives while developing practical tools you can use outside of therapy. My goal is for our work to help you better understand yourself, build confidence in your ability to handle challenges, and feel more equipped to move forward.
