Great to meet you!

I am a graduate of the University of Southern Calfornia where I earned my Masters in social work with a concentration on military social work. I earned my Bachelors degree at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, majoring in psychology. I have been in the mental health field since 2003 providing in home, and community based services for a wide range of people in need. I have clinical experience treating anxiety, Depression, stress, ADHD, anger management and bipolar disorder.

My approach to therapy

My approach is eclectic, specifically tailored to the needs of each individual I help. During treatment, I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) among several other techniques. Each client will find solace in knowing there are many roads to growth and that they are in the driver's seat with an enthusiastic, caring professional riding along.

What you can expect from me

I create an environment in which individuals are able to approach the complexities of life at their own pace. A common takeaway several clients have told me is that they truly appreciate feeling free to express themselves as they wish in the moment, while receiving a sense of genuine, caring in an organically "laid back" dialog during our sessions. As several clients have told me; "I don't feel like im in therapy during our sessions, and I feel long lasting benefit afterwards".
