Great to meet you!

My therapeutic style balances deep empathy with practical, real-world strategies. We will talk about the problems and we will actively work to understand what you can do to live by your values.

In couples therapy, we focus on breaking negative communication loops so you can both feel seen, valued, and securely attached.

My approach to therapy

I use several different evidenced-based approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Gottman principles. I don't believe one approach or modality works for everyone and it is important to work with you, the client, to identify goals for treatment.

What you can expect from me

During our first session I want you to feel hopeful about being able to progress. I want to learn about what is bringing you to therapy and what you are hoping to achieve. It is important to have an understanding of your circumstances in order to comprehend how the different aspects of your life might be contributing to your current struggles.
