Great to meet you!

Has life become a process of just going through the motions? Has the build up of painful memories from the past or the worry about what will happen next keep you from living life to its fullest? The truth is that each one of us will struggle at some point on this "path" we call life. However, as common as this struggle is, likewise is the struggle of finding the courage to reach out and ask for help when we need it. The beauty of counseling is that it reveals this path doesn’t have to be walked alone.

My approach to therapy

The core of my practice is providing a safe and compassionate space in which the difficult emotions and thoughts that hurt you most can be revealed, discussed and understood. Within this collaborative space it is possible to transform that hurt into valuable insight and knowledge. My hope is that by aiding you in the process of healing and growth you will become better aware of the power, strength and resilience that exists within yourself. Which, once rediscovered, will allow you to live a life of joy and fulfillment.

What you can expect from me

In the first session my most important task is making sure that you feel heard and seen. That ample space is made for whatever has brought you to counseling. Second, in a collaborative manner I want us to discuss what you are hoping to achieve out of counseling so that healing can begin to occur. I believe that this framework is what sets the trajectory for meaningful work within therapy.
