Great to meet you!

I’m a therapist who believes in creating a safe, judgment-free space where you can be yourself. I earned my Master’s degree from Western Michigan University and have 7 years of experience in addiction counseling, supporting individuals through recovery and life’s challenges. I’m also trained in EMDR, which helps people process and heal from trauma. My approach is down to earth and focused on giving you practical tools you can use in your everyday life. You don’t have to go through things alone.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is supportive, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I focus on helping you feel understood while also working together to build practical tools you can use in your daily life. I draw from approaches like CBT, EMDR, motivational interviewing, and person-centered therapy, depending on what fits you best. I may gently challenge unhelpful patterns, but always with respect and your goals in mind. Therapy with me is a balance of real conversation, skill-building, and meaningful progress.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a relaxed, judgment-free space where we get to know each other. We’ll talk about what brought you in, what you’re hoping to get out of therapy, and any goals you want to work toward. There’s no pressure to share everything at once we’ll go at your pace. I’ll also answer any questions you have and give you a sense of how I work. By the end, we’ll have a clearer direction and a plan for moving forward together.
