Great to meet you!

I’m Maureen, a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges. Whether you're facing anxiety, trauma, relationship concerns, or navigating a major life transition, I’m here to help you find your way forward in a compassionate, nonjudgmental space.

With a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Colorado Christian University and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University, I have a strong foundation in mental health care.

My approach to therapy

I am trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a values-driven approach that focuses on helping you take meaningful action towards living the life you want. I am also Internal Family Systems (IFS) informed, and use this approach to encourage harmony within the self.

  • My areas of focus include Anxiety, Trauma, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Life transitions and Other mental health concerns. I also offer Christian faith informed therapy for clients who are interested in incorporating their spiritual beliefs into therapy.

What you can expect from me

  • My goal is to cultivate a space where you can be curious about your values, beliefs, and emotions with respect and compassion. I strongly believe in the importance of self compassion as the foundation for mental wellness, and will work with you to develop care for self not only to alleviate immediate stressors, but to achieve long term outcome.
