Great to meet you!

I hold a masters degree and am a licensed mental health counselor. I also hold a hefty life school certification. I am a nerd. I am an artist. That combination is pretty cool and useful in relating to you as a person and not a collection of problems to be fixed.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Like my taste in music and food I am an eclectic therapist. I use existential therapy, CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, spiritual connection, and experiential art exercises. It’s okay if you don’t know what any of those are! We'll get to talk about that and find what will work best for you. You are unique. It's different for everyone!

What you can expect from our first session

I think when people leave my office, they feel a sense of themselves as authentic human beings. Not a version of themselves they want to show others. My clients often say they feel "seen and heard" when they are with me and it helps them go out into the world and safely be themselves.
