Great to meet you!

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, constantly anxious, struggling to focus, or simply not feeling like yourself lately, you’re not alone. Many people experience challenges with thier mental health, and with the right support, meaningful change is possible.

My name is May, and I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 13 years of experience in health care. My background includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a BSN, and MSN, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health care in a supportive and nonjudgmental environment.

My specialty includes the evaluation and treatment of ADHD, Anxiety disorders, Depression, OCD, PTSD, and Sleep disorders.

Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, and experiencing new cultures and cuisines. These experiences help me stay grounded and remind me of the importance of connection, balance, and living life fully—values I encourage my patients to pursue as well.

Taking the first step toward improving your mental health can feel difficult, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. I would be honored to support you on your journey toward healing and balance.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and personalized. I believe that effective mental health treatment begins with truly listening and creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing your experiences and concerns.

Everyone’s journey is different, and I work closely with each patient to develop a treatment plan that fits their individual needs and lifestyle.

What you can expect from me

Starting with a new mental health provider can feel a little intimidating, and it’s completely normal to feel unsure about what to expect.

During our initial visit, we will talk about what brought you in, the challenges you’ve been experiencing, and how those concerns may be affecting different areas of your life such as work, relationships, sleep, and daily functioning.

This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and discuss your goals for treatment. Together, we will begin developing a personalized plan that may include medication management, education, and practical strategies to support your mental health and overall well-being.
