Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with years of experience in mental health care. My clinical background includes working with individuals across different stages of life and supporting clients experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, and other mental health concerns. I provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy, behavioral health support, and care coordination.

I believe mental health care should be personalized, compassionate, and free of judgment. My goal is to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and comfortable discussing their concerns. I work collaboratively with each client to understand their experiences, strengths, and goals and develop a treatment plan that fits their individual needs.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, person-centered, and evidence-based. I take time to understand the whole person rather than focusing only on symptoms or diagnoses. Depending on your needs, treatment may include psychotherapy, medication management, behavioral strategies, education, and coordination with other healthcare professionals.

I incorporate therapeutic approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and supportive therapy to help clients understand patterns of thinking and behavior, develop healthy coping skills, manage emotions, and work toward meaningful change. When medication is appropriate, I provide education about treatment options, potential benefits and side effects, and work with you to make informed decisions about your care.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and develop a clear understanding of what brings you to treatment. We will discuss your current concerns, mental health history, symptoms, goals, relevant medical and social history, and previous treatment experiences.

You can expect a welcoming, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment. Together, we will identify your priorities and develop an individualized treatment plan. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer path forward in your mental health journey.
