Great to meet you!

Mayowa Ogundiyun is a licensed clinician with a passion for helping individuals navigate life's challenges, discover their innate strengths and identify how to foster healthy and supportive relationships.

Dr. Ogundiyun’s therapeutic approach begins with cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and treatment often transitions into an eclectic therapeutic modality. This affords the opportunity to draw upon a variety of techniques and theoretical orientations to tailor treatment to the unique needs of each client. It also creates a supportive and collaborative environment for exploring concerns that are impacting well-being, identifying and modifying unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors, and also to increase the effectiveness of the treatment and client engagement.

With 8 years of experience in the field, working with individuals from ages 16-65, struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, identity and relationship issues, and life transitions. The goal is to create a safe and non-judgmental space, fostering self-compassion and acceptance, and empowering you to become your own advocate on your wellness journey.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) - Identifying and modifying negative thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to mental health issues.

Eclectic Approach - Adapting a variety of therapeutic techniques based on the client's progress and an understanding that complex needs may require a multifaceted approach.
