Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and I am fully independently licensed in New York, Maryland, and Colorado. I have experience working in intensive outpatient and higher levels of care, supporting individuals with complex and co-occurring mental health conditions.

I specialize in working with individuals who experience intense emotions, relationship instability, and patterns consistent with Borderline Personality Disorder. I also have extensive experience treating eating disorders, OCD, trauma-related concerns, and self-harm behaviors.

Much of my work has been with clients who have experienced chronic invalidation or attachment trauma and are trying to understand why certain emotional and relational patterns feel so hard to change.

My approach is grounded in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, trauma-informed care, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and schema-informed interventions. I balance structured skill-building with deeper insight work so that we’re not only reducing symptoms, but also addressing the underlying patterns that maintain them.

I work primarily with adults who are motivated to better understand themselves and are ready to make meaningful changes.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is both compassionate and structured. I believe meaningful change happens when we balance validation with accountability.

I draw primarily from Dialectical Behavior Therapy, trauma-informed care, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and schema-informed approaches. In our work together, we will build practical skills to help you regulate emotions, tolerate distress, and improve relationships - while also exploring the deeper beliefs and attachment patterns that shape your reactions.

I do not believe people are broken. I believe behaviors develop for a reason. Together, we will work to understand those patterns without shame, and then actively shift the ones that are no longer serving you.

Therapy with me is collaborative, direct, and goal-oriented. I will help you increase psychological flexibility, emotional resilience, and self-trust so that you feel more stable and empowered in your daily life.

What you can expect from me

The first session is primarily about getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy at this point in your life.

We’ll talk about your current concerns, relevant history, and what you hope might feel different as a result of therapy. You do not have to share everything all at once. We move at a pace that feels manageable.

I will likely ask structured questions to get a clear picture of your symptoms, patterns, and goals. You’re also welcome to ask me questions as this is a collaborative process.

By the end of the session, we will begin identifying initial goals and discussing what our work together might look like moving forward.
