Great to meet you!

I'm so glad you've chosen to seek support. Whether this is the beginning of your therapy journey or you've been in therapy for years, we can work together to increase your well-being to a place where you feel more fulfilled. As a child, I experienced severe anxiety, depression, and OCD symptoms. Through family support and treatment, I gained tools to manage my symptoms and move forward. While depression has mostly subsided, anxiety and OCD continue to impact how I move through the world, and this experience greatly motivates me to decrease the suffering of others.

My approach to therapy

My specialization is with folks who have survived adverse life events and those who identify with marginalized populations, including LGBTQIA+. I hold a keen awareness of the strengths and barriers involved in the queer experience because I'm queer too. Supporting you in finding safety in community is my honor. I utilize person-centered, strengths-based approaches with a trauma-informed lens to ensure your experience in therapy is exactly what makes sense for you individually. My experience working with multidisciplinary teams lends itself to creative, collaborative problem-solving and empowers you to be the driving force behind your positive change.

What you can expect from me

During our initial sessions, we will explore your goals and identify your priorities to co-create a plan that specifies how we will move forward. At any time, if you feel things aren't progressing as you'd prefer, we can revisit this process and adjust to ensure we remain focused on the areas that will feel most helpful for you.
