While I tailor my approach to each individual, one constant in my work is the belief that a strong therapeutic relationship is central to meaningful change. I strive to create a space where you feel understood, accepted, and challenged when needed. My goal is for counseling to be a place where you can show up as your authentic self, which is why building genuine rapport is so important to me. Together, we’ll explore unhelpful patterns, deepen insight, and support you in living in alignment with your values.
I received my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Portland State University. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in a residential facility as a recovery coach, supporting individuals working toward recovery from eating disorders. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with clients experiencing OCD, anxiety, eating disorders, and life transitions in both group and private practice settings.
My approach draws from humanistic, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and existential frameworks to help clients feel grounded, empowered, and aligned with what matters most to them. I specialize in treating OCD using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)—the gold-standard, evidence-based therapy for OCD—along with Inference-Based CBT (I-CBT), which I tailor to each individual.
In our first session, we’ll take time to review your intake paperwork, discuss informed consent and practice policies, and get to know each other at a pace that feels comfortable for you. You’ll have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have, and together we’ll begin clarifying your goals for therapy.
