Great to meet you!

I'm Megan, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor(CRC) practicing virtually throughout Oregon under my practice Inner Reflection Counseling. I work with teenagers, young adults, and adults dealing with anxiety, ADHD, depression, grief, trauma, and the kind of daily stress that makes everything feel harder. I've been working with people who identify as LGBTQIA+ for over 4 years, and I bring genuine affirmation to that work — not just tolerance. I also have experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). My style is warm, open-minded, and collaborative.

My approach to therapy

I use a person-centered foundation — which means I follow your lead and adapt to what you actually need. I draw from DBT (building practical skills for managing emotions and stress) and ACT (learning to work with difficult thoughts rather than fighting them). I bring in coping skills naturally when they fit our conversation — nothing forced or formulaic. Most importantly, I want sessions to feel comfortable and real, not clinical.

What you can expect from me

The first session is mostly getting to know each other. I'll ask about what brought you here, what's been going on, and what you're hoping might be different. You'll also have the chance to ask me anything about how I work or what therapy looks like. There's no pressure to have your whole story organized — we go at your pace. By the end, you'll have a real sense of what working together would feel like.
