Great to meet you!

I am a licensed mental health professional with experience in higher education counseling, school counseling, and private practice counseling. I hold a doctorate in Community Care and Counseling and have dedicated my career to ethical, trauma-informed practice rooted in service, faith, and community. Sage Counseling Services and The Upper Room Collective were created in response to a calling to provide women with faith-centered, clinically grounded spaces for healing, rest, and renewal. My work is grounded in professionalism, integrity, and a deep respect for each client’s story.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is relational, trauma-informed, and collaborative. I integrate evidence-based clinical practices with Christian faith when aligned with the client’s values, while always honoring ethical and cultural considerations. I focus on whole-person care, attending to emotional, relational, spiritual, and community influences on well-being. Therapy is a space for both gentle restoration and meaningful growth.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a welcoming, unhurried space focused on building safety and trust. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any relevant background at a pace that feels comfortable. You can expect a nonjudgmental environment where your experiences are respected and your strengths are acknowledged. Together, we will begin identifying next steps that support healing, clarity, and rest.
