Great to meet you!

I'm a certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner with a master's degree in nursing from Simmons University and a post-master's certificate from Walden University. I have been working as an advanced nurse since 2016, specializing in Palliative Medicine with a focus on supporting cancer patients and their families. I work with clients of all ages and from diverse backgrounds.

My approach to therapy

I assist individuals who are struggling to balance their life due to different symptoms such as depression, anxiety, or sleep issues. My approach towards helping clients is personalized, comprehensive, and holistic, which means I work with them to get their life on track according to their needs and goals at their pace. My practice includes medication management with supportive Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.

What you can expect from me

My goal for the first appointment is to hear your story and to build that essential rapport for a healthy, positive, and supportive client-provider relationship. As it is important for you to feel comfortable, heard and in control during the appointment, you can set the pace and depth of the conversation. By the end of the appointment, my clients typically feel relieved and optimistic about the future with a mutually decided upon plan of action.
