I recently received my full licensure in Nov 2024, but have been working in the field for 5 1/2 years. My experience began working on a pediatric inpatient unit and has transitioned to more community-based work on an outpatient level. I truly enjoy working with adults and those who are ready to seek change.
My approach to therapy involves kindness, empathy and compassion with moments of being direct and challenging. I have a great sense of humor that I often incorporate into my approach as well. My belief is we are our biggest obstacles to overcome.
Perspective and more than likely solutions or proactive ways to decrease their symptoms. However, with that being said my hope is they leave feeling lighter and empowered.
