Great to meet you!

I am a psychologist with 20 years of experience, obtained my undergraduate degree from Northwestern University, and completed my doctorate in clinical psychology and residency in child trauma. I teach strategies for emotional resilience and coping confidence and promote healing from traumatic experiences. I aim to inspire faith, hope for recovery, and renewed love for yourself and your body.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed therapies (including EMDR), & play-based therapy. If talk therapy is uncomfortable, I offer creative approaches. I teach how to tolerate distress, practice self-respect, and add pleasure back into life in order to stabilize mood, as well as a mind-body connection to help you listen to your body when it is talking to you (i.e. having symptoms).

What you can expect from our first session

I help to stabilize mood, create meaning out of traumatic events, and recover from maladaptive behaviors.
