Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Melani. I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Certified Addiction Specialist with over 15 years of experience in the field. I earned my master’s degree in counseling and have spent much of my career supporting individuals and families through life transitions, stress, anxiety, addiction recovery, and emotional overwhelm. I provide a calm and welcoming space where clients feel safe to share their stories and reconnect with their strengths. My goal is to help you find clarity, build self-awareness, and move forward in a way that feels authentic and empowering. Whether you're navigating change, healing from past pain, or simply needing support, I'm here to walk with you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and focused on helping you feel both supported and empowered. I take a person-centered approach, meaning our work is guided by your goals and your pace. I draw from evidence-based practices like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused techniques, and trauma-informed care to tailor support that fits your unique needs.

I specialize in working with clients facing anxiety, life transitions, burnout, addiction recovery, and emotional overwhelm. I also enjoy supporting women navigating identity shifts, caregiving stress, and personal healing journeys. Whether you’re seeking clarity, change, or simply space to feel heard—I’m here to walk with you through it.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and talk about what brings you to therapy. You’ll have space to share what feels most important, and I’ll ask thoughtful questions to understand your goals, your experiences, and how I can best support you. There’s no pressure—we’ll move at your pace and focus on creating a sense of safety and trust from the very beginning.

Over time, sessions are designed to help you feel more grounded, self-aware, and in control of your own healing process. We’ll work together to explore what’s getting in the way, develop tools that work for you, and set goals that reflect the life you want to build. Clients often leave feeling more connected to themselves and more confident in handling life’s challenges—with clarity, intention, and support.
