Great to meet you!

I believe that, at times, life can be difficult in a myriad of ways, but that we all have the ability to access the resilience necessary to lead fulfilling lives. People often need support in order to heal/grow and I am here to offer that. Clients have told me that I offer a calm, safe/grounded space to discuss their issues and explore paths to expansion. As a client-led therapist, I will honor your goals, but am not afraid to gently challenge you, when necessary, so that you may confront the things that are getting in your way.

I have personally experienced therapy that has been incredibly helpful and some that was not–so I encourage you to listen to yourself and honor your needs when choosing someone to work with.

I welcome people from all cultural backgrounds, ethnicities, races, gender expressions and sexualities and enjoy working with a diverse population of clients. I’ve had the opportunity to work with clients aged 8 to 70.

When I’m not working, I enjoy hanging out with my dog, getting outdoors, board games, reading and spending time near the ocean.

My approach to therapy

Our sessions are collaborative, warm, and grounded in real connection. I create a space where you can be fully yourself, feel emotionally safe, and talk openly about what is hard without feeling judged, rushed, or alone. I encourage clients to give feedback in regard to treatment because what works for one person doesn't always resonate for the next. My hope is that together we can find the tools that work for you.

What you can expect from me

Our first session (intake session) will provide you with the opportunity to ask any questions that you may have regarding my approach to therapy and treatment in general. I want clients to feel at ease as quickly as possible, however this can take time and that is okay too! I will go through a diagnostic interview during our intake session, which does involve a lot of questions, however you are always free to skip anything that you don't feel comfortable answering yet.
