Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker in both NC and MA. I have years of experience supporting adults of all ages as they process trauma, cope with anxiety and depression, explore identity, navigate relationship challenges and family difficulties, learn to identify emotions, work to improve communication and self advocacy skills, and navigate challenges relating to addiction and recovery. I use an eclectic blend of modalities including IFS, EMDR, CBT, DBT.

My approach to therapy

I value building safe and meaningful connections with my clients. I support clients in deepening self awareness and self compassion. My work is attachment focused and strengths based. I focus on the connection between mind and body, and also offer concrete skills to support emotion regulation, effective communication, and mindfulness practices. I collaborate with clients in identifying and working toward realistic goals.

What you can expect from me

I offer a non-judgmental, safe, supportive therapeutic space within which people feel heard, validated, and receive compassion and empathy. I make space for people to explore and express themselves and thoughtfully pace the therapeutic process. I hope through our work together, clients find a deeper self-understanding, a sense of greater comfort and confidence, heal wounded parts of themselves, and feel empowered to more effectively navigate life's challenges.
