Melinda Talbott

Using my Marriage and Family Therapy License, I have worked with individuals and families in settings such as a psychiatric hospital, residential treatment centers, for adults and children, as well as outpatient services for over 10 years. I have worked in both Utah, Oregon, and Washington and am currently active in both Oregon and Washington.

Using a Client Focused Therapy approach, I help people to find solutions to problems they are struggling with by teaching tools available for success such as healthy coping skills, relaxation techniques, and healthy communication. I also use PCIT to help parents and their young children manage their emotions and behaviors in a healthy manner.

I work with individuals and families struggling with depression, anxiety, parent/child relationship issues, and trauma. I assist individuals and families to identify healthy boundaries, coping skills, and communication skills that improve their ability to engage in a healthy manner with others. I support clients as they learn to embrace transformation for a healthier mind, body, and spirit.
