Great to meet you!

With over 25 years of experience as a counselor and coach, my experiences have led me to the belief that everything we need to make positive change, we already possess. With individual counseling, I will help clients discover those things to make the positive changes they desire and take control of their thoughts, emotions and behaviors. I will support clients as they make sense of the stressors in their life and empower them with coping/resiliency skills and rapid resets to restore wellness.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, strengths-based, non-judgemental and Biblically-based. I believe in the importance of the client/counselor relationship and the holistic person, however my approach to therapy is dependent on client goals and the current presenting issues. I primarily utilize Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Body Centered Therapy, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing approaches to support an individual's resilience and wellness.

What you can expect from me

I will work diligently to understand your life experiences, issues presented during your sessions, and your perception of what brought you to counseling. I will offer practical tools and skills to support your goals for counseling. My passion is supporting clients as they level up their mental, emotional, spiritual and physical well being to maintain balance in the body. Although my focus may be more on the mental/emotional, it's important to understand the interconnection of all four aspects.
